I have also recently created an Instagram profile, mainly to follow a couple of interesting people recommended by Om Malik on his personal blog. But I haven’t uploaded any photos yet and I don’t think I will be very active there – I only visit the app once every couple of days and I finish browsing new photos in a matter of minutes. As with Twitter, with which Instagram shares the public nature of posts and the asymmetric follower model, the active user numbers would be much more relevant.
